The Basilica built alongside the original castle where Ignatius lived.
The adjoining 'Hotel Arrupe' became our home for a day.
Mass in the evening in the room where Ignatius recovered from his battle wounds, and upon reading the life of Christ and the lives of the saints was moved to become a 'soldier for Christ'.
Our Spanish companions for the first few days briefing us on 'not getting lost', managing blisters, ............being pilgrims in a long and great tradition.
